Reverend Pat Walker
Pat Walker, Creek, is ordained. She and her husband Gary are founders of Firestarters Ministries and The Native Prayer Network. She was born in Virginia, raised in a military family and has traveled to and lived in many places around the world. Presently, she and her husband reside in Tacoma, WA. Together they have 6 children and 12 grandchildren.
Pat’s educational background is in business and accounting. Prior to answering the call on her life and completing her studies with Victory Life Ministries, she served as Corporate Secretary/Treasurer of a million dollar business. At the formation of the Parkland/Spanaway Chamber of Commerce, she was selected by the community to serve on the executive board which made her the only woman on the board. She worked for Bethel School District developing “Career Paths” so all students could find success through their personal gifts and aptitudes. Other responsibilities at Bethel School District included overseeing grants and teacher’s budgets, problem-solving and establishing effective communications within district and beyond. She organized meetings with Boeing and other businesses to promote business relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the students in the Bethel district. Pat has strong administrative, leadership abilities and now uses her abilities to build God’s Kingdom. Pat’s spiritual gifts is the discerning of spirits. It has allowed her to see many people set free from years of bad habits and negative thoughts. She has helped build bridges of hope in troubled relationships and also has ministered on domestic violence and healing. Her administrative abilities enables her to bring the body of Christ together through various gatherings designed to bring understanding of the truths of God for today’s issues. |
Pat has a ministry of dance, demonstrating the beauty and freedom of the redeemed culture, worshiping Jesus as the person God made her to be. She has an “Esther Anointing” which she imparts to Native women, so they can fulfill their calling for such a time as this.
Pat has spoken and danced at many venues including Trinity Broadcasting Network, Aglow International, Phoenix, Yakama & Alaska Native Women‘s Conference, NW Native Women‘s Conferences, Reconciliation Gatherings, National Day of Prayer events, Pierce County Prayer Breakfast, WA State Fair and many fundraisers. She has coordinated prayer for the Muckleshoot Pentecostal Church, has set up large gatherings, and organizes outreaches for Firestarters Ministries which established and oversees the Native Prayer Network presently covering 27 states and 2 countries overseas. It all begins with prayer! |
Her heart is to work in agreement with the power of God to bring her Native Brothers and Sisters into their destiny for this hour.
